The Eastern Bar Forum courtesy visit to the Acting Chief judge of Imo state at the Oputa High Court complex, New Owerri, Imo state, on the 25th day of June, 2026.

On the 25th day of June, 2026 the Eastern Bar Forum paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Chief Judge of Imo State at the Oputa High Court Complex New Owerri, Imo State. The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement between members of the Forum and the Judiciary on matters relating to the administration of justice, the rule of law and the continued strengthening of the legal profession within the Eastern region.

During the visit, the Forum reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote judicial excellence, professional ethics and access to justice. The Acting Chief Judge appreciated the visit and commended the Forum for its dedication to the advancement of the legal profession and the justice sector.

The visit concluded with expressions of goodwill and a renewed commitment to fostering cordial and productive relationships between the Bench and the Bar.
