Judqment
The plaintiff claimed
against the defendant
as follows:
1. An order of the Hounourable Court that the defendant forthwith pays the
plaintiff the sum of one hundred and twenty-six thousand naira(126,000) being a
liquidated sum the defendant owes the
plaintiff
On 14th day of December 2023, when the maker was slated for
plea, defendant's counsel appealed
for a date to enable him study the file and confer with the defendant as he was just briefed in
court on that day. The court granted the adjournment
Today being 21st day of December, 2023, defendant counsel applied for plea of liable to be entered for defendant and & further prayed for
time tO enable the defendant pay the debt.
I have considered the prayers that judgment be entered for plainñff and for time to be given to defendant to pay the total debt. It is my decision that the prayers be and are accordingly granted.
I heeby enter
judgment in plaintiffs
claim as prayed and order as follows:
1.
The
defendant is hereby found liable to plaintiffs claim and is hereby ordered to pay the plaintiff the totaI sum of (N126,000) one hundred and twenty six thousand
naira being the total sum of debt
she owes the plaintiff.
2. The defendant is further granted the grace of up till 31° January 2024 to complete the payment of the total sum.
